Work places have a responsibility to ensure that the person with management or control of plant/equipment ensures that:
- plant/equipment is not commissioned unless the person has established that the plant/equipment is, so far as reasonably practicable, without risks to the health and safety of any person.
- the person installing or commissioning the plant is a competent person, and is provided with all the information necessary to minimise risks to health and safety.
- the processes for the installation, construction and commissioning of plant include inspections that ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the risks are monitored and staff are inducted and trained.
At Integra Consultancy, our service is designed to ensure you are meeting your legal obligations with the procurement, installation and commissioning of plant and equipment. Our wholistic service includes:
- Procurement of plant and equipment for schools (education specifications)
- Notify the school of any power supply requirements (organize trades is needed)
- Arrange delivery
- Position and install plant and equipment to meet safety exclusion zones and spacing
- Lay floor marking tape
- Commission Machine (provide all documentation)
- Connect to power/dust extraction
- Test machinery
- Put up correct SOP’s, Safety Signs and Startup checklists
- Arrange training for staff
- Complete maintenance schedules for installed plant and equipment
- Complete all warranty information
We engage with a range of suppliers to ensure that your plant/equipment purchase meets all current specifications. All of our work is fully documented with all commissioning document, warranties, checklists, SOP’s, asset registers and staff induction registration completed. We provide a hard and soft copy for your records to ensure you meet your legal obligations.
